<<<<<HOW TO SEND US FILES>>>>>
As this site becomes more
sophisticated, we'll have all sorts of "How To's" and items of
interest for you to browse and learn. Meanwhile, deadlines are looming, and you
need to get your file(s) to COLORTEKS. Here's how:
- Prepare your
files as you normally would for transport to a service bureau. (This
includes making sure all links are up-to-date, printing a final set of
laser proofs and separations, etc.)
- Round-up all
the necessary files, links, and fonts, and place them all into a single
directory/folder with your name. (Example: "JohnSmithOutput")
- Compress the
contents of this folder using commonly available compression software
(i.e.: Zip, WinZip, Stuffit, DiskDoubler, etc) or as a
"self-extracting archive." This will both protect your files and speed your
upload.
- Compose a brief
e-mail message to us, treating your compressed files as an attachment. In the
SUBJECT field, include
your jobname or client's name.
- MOST
IMPORTANTLY: Provide us with a WORK ORDER with your instructions on it!
Our Fax number is 795-0978. Don't have a work order to fill out? Simply
phone us, and we'll gladly fax a blank work order to you to complete and
send back to us. Our phone and fax numbers can be found at the top of this
page. Don't
forget to fax your composite printout and separations along with your work
order!
